Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to be concerned about other, more advanced gamblers taking their cash.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty choices.
It is also easier to enjoy for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
