Novice Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in an excellent game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable players winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick selections.

It is also easier to gamble on for an extended time with just a little bit of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the house gets seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
