Phil Ivey has been labeled as the best poker competitor on the planet by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to NJ before reaching turning 1. His grandpa taught Phil one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, he was addicted to poker and wished to discover every little thing he possibly could about the game. He decided to take his game to the next level and headed out west to Las Vegas. He continues to participate in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players in the world. Ivey credits his success to dedication and an eternal passion for the game of poker. Phil says that he is learning every single day and is very abashed about his achievements. Phil admits to making mistakes in each session of poker and always strives to get better.
Despite the fact that Ivey has won some big-time tournaments, he prefers winning cash games on a regular basis.
