Online poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers attain five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays cash even with your ante and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
